So I found some more time to play with my painting, (sometime around 2 a.m.)
and here are the results of the second night. I just wanted to play with some techniques, and get a feel for some of the tools in this context. I may have gone overboard on some things, but hopefully it'll get pulled back and balanced by the time its done. Or it'll be abandonded and I'll try another .

Really diggin the background textures, best friend!! Though, to be honest, I thought the jetflame looked even cooler when it was more graphic and flat...it really stood out!

Hey Jon, nice solid piece of work, makes me think of Ashley Wood/Van Fleet territory. Cool 'bot.
